From materials science labs at Politechnika Gdańska and 3D-printing work at Zortrax, through iOS and test automation at Lufthansa Systems, to full-stack development - Łukasz’s path into software was anything but direct, and that breadth shapes how he approaches engineering problems.
He has experience building distributed services in a microservice architecture, with .NET and Azure on the server side and React with TypeScript on the client side. He has also worked closely with product teams - tracking usage metrics, running user interviews, and letting data shape decisions alongside writing the code.
He has a genuine interest in AI - both as a tool for improving his own development workflow and as a means of solving real-world problems; he’s backed that up with AI Devs certificates. His approach is pragmatic: he reaches for AI where it earns its place, and keeps things simple where it doesn’t.
Past experience
- Built distributed systems at Guestline for hotel property management software, with .NET, React, and Azure
- Worked closely with product teams - tracking usage metrics, running user interviews, and letting data shape decisions alongside writing code
- Has a genuine interest in AI - both as a tool for improving developer workflow and as a means of solving real-world problems - and approaches it pragmatically: AI where it earns its place, a simple solution where that's enough
- Started his career at Lufthansa Systems with test automation, iOS development, and Java, before moving to .NET - a background that gives him a perspective few full-stack engineers have
- Before switching to software, worked with 3D-printing technology at Zortrax and studied nanotechnology at Politechnika Gdańska
- Completed a research placement through the Erasmus+ programme in Malta during his studies - an experience that taught him to form hypotheses, test them, and draw conclusions from data
